Handmade Stuff

Sometimes I get tired of creating stuff on the computer, so I get out the paint, scissors & glue and start crafting! Below are some pictures of a few things I make. I occasionally sell my crafts at small craft shows and maker's fairs.
I will be selling at the Texas Avenue Maker's Fair on Nov. 5, 2011 in Shreveport, LA. You can also contact me if you see something you like, or have a special request.

Bookmarks and Earrings

The bookmarks stretch over your book and they stay in place, without damaging your book! I have all kinds with different charms on the end. The earrings are one-of-a-kind, I make the charms on the earrings and a lot of the ones for the bookmarks.

Pull Tags & Cell Phone Charms

These pull-tags are made of sturdy thin wood. They are great for luggage, purses, backpacks or anything with a zipper. I have all kinds of pop-culture related ones; contact me if you don't see something you like! Mario there is a cell phone charm, but you could use him and the others I have made like him, for other stuff.

Highly-Scented Cinnabon Potpourri

(My Most Popular Item!) Always Sells Out!

Made with rosehips, cinnamon sticks, tiny pine cones and more grungy-looking pieces from nature, you will love this potpourri! If only you could smell this picture! Sold by the scoop, it will smell up your home for a long time! When the scent fades away eventually, just put a few drops of cinnamon oil or your favorite scent and shake around to freshen it up.

Hand-Painted Signs

I have just a few of these left. They take awhile to paint, and I always have to hunt down the perfect pieces of old wood to paint on.

Vintage-Looking Paper Tags

I love old stuff. If it doesn't look old, I will MAKE it look old. I think old things have character, and a story. Some of my favorite things to "old-up" are paper tags. They look so pretty when tied onto a gift wrapped in vintage paper, or even hanging on a Christmas tree with other vintage ornaments. I have a "secret recipe" to making these tags look old and worn, and it makes them smell oh-so-good!
